For ease of study, we could re-align the sections as follows: - Includes Comprehension (Both first and last Comprehension), Communication Skills (3 sections) 2. Reasoning Aptitude
- Logical Reasoning and Analytical Ability, General Mental Ability, Decision Making and Problem Solving (3 sections) - Basic Numeracy, Data Interpretation (2 sections) With 200 marks and 2 hrs. in hand, let us assume the sectional distribution for CSE could be somewhat like: Topic Questions Time Allotted Attempt Score English Aptitude (3 sec) 75 45 55 >48 Reasoning Aptitude(3 sec) 75 45 55 >48 Quantitative Aptitude (2 sec) 50 30 30 >24 Total 200 120 min 140 (70%) 120 (60%) If the above structure proves true, a score of 120 with 140 attempts would be more than sufficient to clear Paper-II. As of resources, one could take the following approach: 1. One could develop his/er own strategy to learn and earn mastery over the sections. But ensure that you keep in mind the need for Practice, without which none of the concepts would stay in your head.
